Take 2 cups grated cabbage
Take 4-5 tbsp gram flour

Take 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Take 2 tomatoes roughly chopped
Make ready 1 green chilli roughly chopped
Prepare 1 small piece of ginger
Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds
Take 1 pinch asafoetida
Make ready 1 bay leaf
Take 1 small stick cinnamon
Make ready 2 cloves
Take 1 tsp grated ginger
Take 1 tsp kasuri methi
Prepare 2 tsp coriander powder
Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
Get 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Get 2-3 tbsp fresh whisked yoghurt
Make ready 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Prepare to taste Salt
Get 2 tbsp oil for making curry
Prepare as required Oil to deep fry the koftas
Steps to make Cabbage Kofta Curry:
Firstly, mix all the ingredients of making koftas in a mixing bowl.
Make lemon sized balls.
Now heat oil in a wok and deep fry these balls on low medium flame till they are golden brown. Bring them out on a kitchen napkin and keep aside.
Now add tomatoes, ginger and green chilli in a mixer jar. Blend it into a smooth paste. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a wok on low medium flame.
Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, asafoetida and kasuri methi. Saute for few seconds.
Now add in the tomato paste and cook till the masala starts leaving oil.
Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and kashmiri red chilli powder. Saute for 1 minute.
Now add in the whisked yoghurt, give it a quick mix.
Add 1 1/2 cups water along with garam masala powder and salt.
Cook the gravy for few minutes and add the fried koftas. Further cook for just one minute and switch off the flame.
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with chapatis and rice.
