The ingredients needed to make Masala pav:
  1. Prepare 1 cup chopped onions
  2. Get 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  3. Take 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
  4. Take 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  5. Get 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  6. Get 2 tsp pav bhaji masala powder
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Get 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp butter
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp oil
  11. Prepare 1/4 cup water
  12. Prepare as per taste Salt
  13. Get 2 pav
Instructions to make Masala pav:
  1. Firstly heat 1 tbsp butter and oil in a kadhai or tawa, add chopped onions fry till translucent next add chopped tomatoes and fry until they are soft
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste fry for a minute next add chopped capsicum and fry till capsicum are little soft
  3. Further add red chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, turmeric and salt
  4. Saute this for 5 mins,now add 1/4th cup water & mash this masala with masher and cook for 2-3 mins and switch off the flame,add some chopped coriander leaves
  5. Add 1 tbsp butter on tawa and cut pav into half then toast it for a minute.Further turn over and spread some amount of prepared masala on both side of pav
  6. Also spread the masala over the pav & garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  7. Finally serve masala pav hot with sliced onions & a piece of lemon
