  1. First of all heat oil and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon stick and saute.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli and onions and saute.
  3. Add spice powder like chilli powder, turmeric and coriander powder and stir. - Also add tomato pulp and saute till it thickens.
  4. Saute till the masala start to release oil and then add methi leaves and sugar and salt. - saute for a minute.
  5. Now add milk, cream and water. - also add paneer cubes and give a gentle mix.
  6. Add garam masala,cover and simmer for 2 minutes. - finally, serve methi malai paneer with chapathi or paratha.
