  1. Prepare 200 gms paneer
  2. Make ready 2 onions chopped

  11. Take 1-2 cloves

  14. Get 1 tbsp melon seeds(magaz) optional
  15. Take to taste Salt
  16. Prepare 1/4 cup water
  17. Make ready 10-15 cashews
  18. Prepare As required Oil
  19. Make ready 2-3 cardamom pods
  20. Prepare As required Chopped coriander leaves
  21. Take 1-2 green chili
Instructions to make Shahi Paneer:
  1. Heat a pan. Add oil to it. Heat it. Now add cumin, peppercorns, cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, cashews, and melon seeds.
  2. Now add chopped tomatoes to it. Add turmeric, coriander powder, salt, red chili powder. Mix and cover the lid, let it cook. Now add water to it. Cover n cook till tomatoes is fully cooked.
  3. Cool it and grind it to a fine paste. After grinding strain the masala with a sieve/ strainer. Take oil and butter in a pan. Add slit green chili and grated or chopped ginger to it.
  4. Add paneer to it. Fry from all sides till it gets a nice color. Once the paneer is little brown in color, add strained masala gravy to it. Mix and cook for a few minutes. Add Kasuri methi to it stir properly. Cook for 2-5 minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves to it. Sahi paneer is ready. Can be served with paratha or rice.
