Make ready 100 gm fried paneer cubes
Prepare 1 small onion chopped
Take 2 tomatoes chopped

First peel, wash and slit twice, potala length wise,marinate Potala. for 10 minutes. Then, microwave the marinated Potala for 5 minutes. Set aside.
Heat oil in Kadhai. Add panch phutan and allow to splutter. Add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
Now, add the onion masala and chopped tomatoes. Cook till the oil separates from the masala. Then, mix the Posto (Poppy seeds) masala with the onion masala. Add 2 tsp water. Cook on low heat till the masala begins to give an aroma.
Mix the fried Potala with the cooked masala and cook on low flame for two minutes. Mix the fried paneer and cook for two minutes more. - - The Potala Kasha is ready to serve with Paratha/Poori.
