Instructions to make Mushroom Matar Masala:
  1. Wash mushroom, cut into 4, keep aside.
  2. Take a wok, add oil, heat it.
  3. Add onion, stir fry it until brown.
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste,badd very lil water, stir fry it till rawness is released.
  5. Add green chili paste, give a stir.
  6. Add haldi & dhania powder, stir it. Add very lil water, stir fry it till oil separates.
  7. Add tomato puree & salt now, give a stir.
  8. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it till oil has oozed out.
  9. Open the lid now, add Kashmiri red chilli powder, give a stir.
  10. Increase the flame, add fresh cream, give a stir.
  11. Lower the flame now, cover it again, cook it till oil has oozed out.
  12. Open the lid now, add garam masala powder, give a stir.
  13. Increase the flame, add matar dana, stir it. Cook it covered at low flame till matar is almost cooked.
  14. Open the lid, increase the flame, add mushroom, stir fry it for a min.
  15. Now add 1 cup water, give a stir.
  16. Boil it for 5 minutes. Cover it with the lid, cook it at low flame until gravy becomes a lil thick. Do not stir in between.
  17. Switch off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes.
  18. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
  19. Have it with Roti or Paratha.
