Take 1 cup basmati rice

Steps to make Veg biryani (in cooker):
Wash and soak rice in water for 30 minutes.
Fry 1 sliced onion in hot oil till golden brown. Fry cubed paneer too. Keep aside.
In a pressure cooker heat oil. Add cumin seeds. Add cloves, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, dry red chillies, bay leaf. When cumin seeds sputters add cashew nuts, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, chopped green chillies and saute for sometimes. Add chopped tomato and saute for sometimes.
Add all veggies like cubed potato, carrot, french beans and green peas. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, biryani masala and garam masala powder. Mix well.
Add beaten curd and mix well. Cook for couple of minutes. Add roughly chopped Mint leaves, chopped coriander leaves and fried paneer.
Now add soaked rice (without water), fried onion, saffron milk and ghee. Mix them. Add 1 cup water and salt to taste. Mix them. Close with lid and cook until 2 whistles. Yummy and quick veg biryani is ready to serve.
