Instructions to make Mushroom Platter:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add panch phutan and allow to crackle. Add onion and green chili. Saute till onion is translucent.
  2. Add masala and cook for a minute. Then mix the tomato puree. Cook on medium flame till the masala thickened.
  3. Add the dry powdered masala along with salt. Cook till oil separates from the masala.
  4. Add mushrooms and potato chunks and cooks till the curry dries up. Add the required amount of water for gravy. Cover and boil on low flame for 3-4 minutes. The curry is ready to serve.
  5. Serve the delicious mushrooms in tomato gravy with steamed rice, masala curd, salad and papad.
