Steps to make Shahi Dum Aloo:
  1. Peel the onion,boil it and then make a paste of it.
  2. In a deep bottom pan heat the oil,add the cinnamon,cloves,cardamon and buy life
  3. Let the aroma floats and them lightly fry the par boiled potatoes in the oil till they golden brown remove the patatos with a slotted spoon and keep them a side.
  4. Now in the some pan add onion paste,fry it till it turn it's colour,add the ginger paste,fry it further till the rawness disapper
  5. Add the spices,fry them for awhile followed by cashew and almond paste.
  6. Add the patatos and coat them well with the masala.
  7. Start them on the medium heat till the masala oozes oil switch off the heat Letitia cool for 2minutes
  8. Add the whipped yoghurt adjust the salt, switch on the heat again and let for couple of minutes
  9. Add one cup warm water close the lid and let it simmer till done. it will have clingy
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro,if you wish to and serve hotwihe poori and kachoris.
