Take 4 choti Elaichi,
Get 4 laung,
Take 8 kali mirch sabit,
Make ready 1 inch dalchini,
Get 1 tbsp dahi,
Instructions to make Hyderabadi Chicken Curry:
Take a mixing bowl, add chicken pcs & all the given ingredients of marination, mix it well. Keep aside for 1/2 hour.
Take a wok or a deep bottom pan, add oil, heat it.
Add green chili, saute it for a sec.
Add curry leaves now, saute it for a minute.
Now add onion, stir fry it till light brown.
Add ginger garlic paste, also add lil water, saute it until rawness is released.
Add marinated chicken pcs, stir fry it for 5 minutes.
Now add tomato & salt, stir fry it for a minute.
Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it till tomato becomes mushy.
In between dry roast the gravy masala for 5 minutes. Grind it to a fine powder. Keep aside.
Open the lid, increase the flame, add powdered masala, stir fry it for a minute. Sprinkle some water to avoid the burning.
Add dahi, mix it well.
Cover it again. Lower the flame, cook it till oil has oozed out.
Increase the flame, open the lid, add 1/2 cup water, stir it.
Give a boil, lower the flame, cover it again, cook it till gravy becomes a lil thick. Check in between.
Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes.
Take out in a serving bowl, have it with Roti or Rice..
