The ingredients needed to make Garlic bread stick:
Take Dry Ing
Make ready 3 cups +9tbsp Maida (full)
Get to taste Salt
Take 2 tbsp Cooking oil

Make ready 1 tbsp Sugar
Make ready 1 tbsp Dry yeast
Make ready 50 ml Warm milk (less then 1/4 cup)
Get Other ing to knead the dough
Take 1 cup Warm Milk
Get 1 tbsp Cooking oil
Make ready Ing for Garlic butter oil
Get 1/2 cup=100 Butter
Get 1/3 cup = 80 ml Cooking oil : 1/3 cup = 80 ml
Prepare 2 tbsp Garlic full grated or minced
Get 1 tbsp Oregano full
Get 1 tsp Red Chilli flakes
Prepare 1/2 tsp Black pepper
Get to taste Salt
Steps to make Garlic bread stick:
In a bowl add maida, salt & oil. Mix well. Keep aside till use.
In another bowl add sugar & yeast. Pour 50 ml warm milk over it & mix lightly. Keep it aside for 5 min to activate. It will be foamy after 5 min.
Take maida mix (1) add the yeast mixture (2). Mix well. Add 1 cup warm milk little by little & knead the dough.
(If the dough is sticky add 1 or 2 tbsp more maida and knead again. It will not be sticky any more). Do not add excess.
When the dough is needed & is little dry add 1 tbsp oil. And knead again for few mins. Dough will become soft, smooth & non sticky.
Keep it in air tight bowl in the kitchen for 2 hrs. Dough will rise up.
In microsafe bowl add butter, oil, garlic, oregano, red chilli flakes, black pepper and salt. Heat it till the butter is melted. Garlic butter is ready. Keep aside.
Grease the oven proof pan / tray with garlic butter.
After 2 hrs knead the dough again for few min. Take small ball from the dough & roll into a log. Arrange in the greased pan & keep aside for 10 min.
Pre heat oven to 200*C for 10 min. Pour garlic butter oil on the logs. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 min.
Take it out of the oven and rub little garlic butter oil on top & serve warm with ketchup or dip.
Tip ** add more maida 1 tbsp at a time if the dough is sticky.
